Cambridge Mathematics of Information in Healthcare

 

Prof. James Rudd is a Professor of Cardiovascular Medicine in the Department of Medicine, University of Cambridge, an Honorary Consultant Cardiologist at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, and the Clinical Lead co-director of the CMIH Hub.

Prof. Rudd's research interests are in vascular imaging, using CT, MRI and nuclear methods. He applies biomechanical, mathematical methods and AI to refine risk on top of imaging and demographic factors. Prof. Rudd works across disease states, including stroke, ischaemic heart disease, peripheral vascular disease, aortic aneurysm, rheumatoid arthritis and pulmonary hypertension. Anywhere where there are arteries!
